• Preparatory work such as making clichés, mixing inks and calibrating colours.
• Maintaining the machines to ensure a smooth printing process.

• Education & Experience: Preferably an A2 diploma in a technical field (mechanics, electromechanics, electricity, printing) or equivalent experience as an operator/technician in chemical or production environments.
• Technical insight: Hands-on, analytical and solution-oriented mindset. Knowledge of printing techniques is a strong asset.
• Hygiene & Accuracy: You work in a highly structured and clean manner. You understand that hygiene is of utmost importance in our sector.
• Mindset: No 9-to-5 mentality. You are flexible and committed to achieving daily targets together with the team.
• Personality: Motivated, persistent, stress-resistant and a team player.
• Communication:
Clear communication skills and comfortable with basic computer administration.

OUR OFFER:

You will join a family-oriented environment where your contribution truly makes a difference.

Are you an entrepreneurial engineer who thinks beyond silos? Are you looking for a role where you contribute strategically to delivery reliability, quality and customer satisfaction? Do you enjoy rolling up your sleeves yourself?

Eurocork is a leading family-owned SME specialized in closures for the food and beverage industry. Our international customers – breweries, distilleries, winemakers, bottling companies and many other leading businesses – rely on us for one thing: products that perfectly meet specifications and are delivered on time.

To deliver on this promise, we are looking for a results-driven Operations & Innovation Manager.

Your responsibility: putting the customer at the heart of production

In this role, you are responsible for the operational core of our company. You ensure that production aligns seamlessly with sales: what is sold is produced on time and to specification under your leadership. You switch effortlessly between leadership, production and R&D.

1. Production Management & Delivery Reliability

• Planning & Deadline Control: You translate orders into a tight production schedule. Delivery deadlines are non-negotiable, and you ensure we achieve our OTIF (On Time In Full) targets.
• Leadership:
You lead a compact production team (3 employees). You ensure focus, efficiency and the right priorities on the shop floor.
• Process Control:
You ensure machines and people perform optimally. In case of unforeseen circumstances, you act quickly to safeguard continuity and customer delivery.
• Customer-Oriented Approach:
You work closely with sales. Urgent orders or specific requests? You assess what is technically and operationally feasible and communicate clearly.

2. Product Quality & Customer Requirements

• Compliance: You guarantee that every product leaving our facility meets the customer’s technical specifications.
• First Time Right:
You drive a production process where errors are prevented rather than corrected afterwards.
• Practical Quality Assurance:
You manage required standards (FSSC 22000, BRC, IFS).pragmatically: quality must live on the shop floor, not only on paper.
• Complaint Handling:
In case of deviations, you resolve issues professionally and implement structural measures to prevent recurrence.

3. R&D & Customer Solutions

• Technical Advisory: You support customers with technical challenges and develop product-specific solutions together with them.
• Innovation:
You test new materials and applications that add value for our customers (e.g. sustainability, improved processability).

4. Optimization & Investments

• You continuously assess how we can produce faster, better or more efficiently for our customers.
• You lead investment projects (new machinery, automation and subsidy applications) that increase production capacity and flexibility.

Your profile:

We are looking for someone technically strong, but above all someone who understands that a production company is driven by customer service.

  • Background: You are an engineer (or equivalent through experience) with experience in a production environment.
  • Results-Oriented: “Impossible” is not in your vocabulary. You seek solutions to serve the customer within agreed timelines.
  • Stress-Resistant: You remain calm under tight deadlines and unexpected planning changes.
  • Detail-Oriented: You do not accept half measures when it comes to product specifications.
  • Communicative: You interact smoothly with production staff, management and customers (when required).
  • Languages: Good command of Dutch and English is essential.

Our offer:

• Customer Impact: You are the driving force behind customer satisfaction. You will see the results of your work directly.
• Short Decision Lines:
You report directly to the managing director. Decisions are made quickly.
• Entrepreneurship: You have the freedom to organize production and processes to optimally serve our customers.
• Attractive Conditions: Competitive salary complemented by additional benefits, aligned with your experience and responsibilities.
